COVENTRY – Coventry High School Center Stage presents a spring musical: 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Performances will be held on March 9, 10, and 11 at 7 p.m. in the Veteran’s Auditorium at Coventry High School, 78 Ripley Hill Road.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a fun story of different middle school kid personalities, and the way they impact concentration and the ability to spell. Familiar feelings of fear, excitement, arrogance, and kindness all come into play during the competition. Whether you are a poor speller or a dynamo, you will appreciate the antics that play out, and it will bring you back to those awkward middle school years. Although the Broadway original script would be rated PG-13, this production is PG and family friendly.
