Talk about a Christmas miracle: A winning $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold in Connecticut for the Dec. 25 drawing, according to the CT Lottery.
The winning numbers for the Christmas Day drawing are 15-26-27-30-35, with a Powerball of 3, according to the CT Lottery. The lucky ticket matched four of the five numbers along with the Powerball, but did not have the Power Play.
A ticket sold in New Jersey had five matching numbers plus the Power Play, according to the Powerball’s website, worth $2,000,000. There was no jackpot winner for the Dec. 25 drawing, upping the jackpot prize to $145,000,000.
