The three hospitals, which Prospect acquired in 2016, have faced worsening financial and operational problems since then, CT Mirror reported. 
Connecticut governor: “The state will be monitoring the situation closely and intends to participate in court proceedings to the extent necessary to protect the interests of patients, employees and creditors.”
