David J. Carreiro OBITUARY

David J. Baronousky Carreiro, 77, of Bolton, beloved husband of Susan A. (Alexander) Carreiro, died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family after a brief illness. David was born in Manchester, CT, on December 27, 1947, son of the late John A. and Pansy (Provoncha) Carreiro. He was a graduate of Penney High School. David and Susan were high school sweethearts married since 1969. A very skilled tradesman, David worked in construction and was happy to share his talents throughout the years with family and friends. He could repair or build anything he put his mind to.  David was an avid fisherman who loved fishing on Long Island Sound on his boat that he kept in Mystic. He found great joy in bringing friends and family with him out on the water. He enjoyed working in his yard outdoors and hiking. Time with his family was most important. Along with his wife of over 55 years, Susan, he leaves his children, Alice C. Boudreau of Coventry, and Duane J. Carreiro of Northbridge, MA, his grandchildren, Samantha Boudreau, Mabel Carreiro, and Dori Carreiro, his brother, John Carreiro of FL, his sister, Jody Carreiro of East Hartford, his favorite nephew, Troy Carreiro of Manchester, his brother-in-law Ralph J. Alexander of South Windsor, his sister-in-law, Mary Hebert of Nebraska, his cousin, Annmarie Baronousky-Chin of Cape Cod, MA and many nieces and nephew.  He was predeceased by his brother, Brian Carreiro, .
