Newington convenience store robbed by two suspects in ski masks

A convenience store in Newington was robbed by armed suspects on Saturday night, according to the police.

The Newington Police Department responded to a panic alarm at the 7-Eleven on New Britain Avenue after 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. Officers said that two men dressed in all black and ski masks entered the store. According to police, one brandished a handgun and demanded money from the store clerk.

The men fled the store with an undetermined amount of money, police said.

The investigation into the robbery is ongoing. Anyone with information or footage of the robbery is asked to contact the Newington Police Department.
