A person was shot near Westbourne Parkway in Hartford on Monday morning, according to the police.
The Hartford Police Department responded to Westbourne Parkway at Ridgefield Street for a ShotSpotter activation around 10:30 a.m. Monday and found evidence of gunfire.
While police were on the scene of the incident, a gunshot victim arrived at St. Francis Hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Division responded and is investigating the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact the HPD Tip Line at 860-722-TIPS (8477).
