
Police are investigating a nonfatal shooting in Hartford on Wednesday.
Officers responded to the area of 20 Bedford Street on a ShotSpotter notification around 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday, according to Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police Department.
Officers located evidence of gunfire while canvassing the area, Boisvert said.
During the investigation, officers learned that a victim was in the Pershing Street area, according to Boisvert. Patrol officers responded to Pershing Street and located the victim, a man in his 40s, who was suffering from a non-life-threatening, graze-type gunshot wound, Boisvert said.
According to Boisvert, the man was uncooperative with the investigation.
The Hartford Police Department’s Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions were called to the scene to conduct the ongoing investigation.
