Ralph is beyond gorgeous, has a fabulous personality, and does not mind being held or cuddled.

He has his own version of a hug where he puts his front paws on both of your shoulders and almost around your neck. One of his volunteer buddies remarks, “he is a gentle giant, sweet as can be, likes to hang out with people, and is fun to play with.”

Our Companions’ Adoption program coordinator comments, “When people are looking for a new companion, they often describe all of the aspects of Ralph. He is social, sweet, and even tolerant with our antics and will happily wear a holiday outfit for some extra treats.”

Ralph came to Our Companions Animal Rescue and Sanctuary a few years ago after a near-death experience due to extreme urinary blockages. He has since recovered, and back then received surgery, but he can at times leak when he is stressed. This special need has been Ralph’s only real barrier to finding a forever home as a single pet. It is certainly understandable that he does need compassionate people who can understand his past medical matters, but overall he is one of the coolest, most social, friendly, and affectionate cats around.

Ralph has learned all sorts of tricks for treats, like “play a piano”, “high-five”, “down”, and he has mastered all of the food puzzles we have ever given him. He is carrier trained, can ring a bell for a treat, and is easy for nail trims. Ralph is a medium haired black and white cat, 13 pound, 9 year old, neutered, litterbox trained, microchipped, and vaccinated.
