Senate Democrats called Wednesday for helping striking workers, but Gov. Ned Lamont and Republicans raised skepticism in a long-running battle that will play out in the coming months. Democrats unveiled labor proposals in a low-digit bill known as Senate Bill 8 – signaling that it is among the most important priorities of the 2025 session.
