Carol Joy Killeen, 93, of West Hartford, died Sunday, January 12, 2025, at The Hebrew Center in West Hartford surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Hartford on January 10, 1932. The daughter of the late William J. Killeen and Leona Z. Killeen, Carol grew up in Hartford and worked as a dental hygienist before becoming a beloved family Nanny.
Carol is survived by four nephews, two nieces, many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews, and several cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Bill Killeen and his wife Terry; her sisters, Gloria Killeen, Janet Killeen, and Barbara Kelleher; and her brother-in-law, James Kelleher. “Cadge” as she was fondly referred to by her closest family, was loved immensely and will always be in our hearts.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford.
