Bette Ann (DiStefano) Jewett, 86 of Southington passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at the HOCC at New Britain General. She was the loving wife of the late Austin Jewett.
She was born February 5, 1938 in Hartford and was the daughter of the late James DiStefano.
Bette Ann was the owner of Little Bug a ceramic shop in Southington for over 50 years. You would find her in the shop with her work smock on, ceramic tools in the pockets walking around the tables to lend a helping hand.
She is survived by her two daughters, Cindylou Everett-Simpson of New London and Belinda Jewett of Southington; two grandchildren, Gil Cividanes II of Meriden and Alyssa Jewett-Allen of Shelby, NC; three great-grandchildren, Kinlee Allen, Christopher and Estevon Cividanes; She was predeceased by her son Austin Wayne Jewett and granddaughter Gerrilynn Mahaffy.
A funeral home service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd at 4:30 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington.
