Rebecca Miller “Becky”, 65, of New Britain passed away January 9th, with loved ones at her side. Becky loved gardening, watching UConn basketball, the Red Sox, and spending time with her kids and grandkids. She was a lifelong resident of Newington, graduating from Newington High School in 1977. She was the life of the party, grew the best tomatoes, and could talk sports all day. She had a compassionate heart and was loved by everyone who met her.

She is survived by her longtime partner, Robert Lozier; Her brother, Robert Stubbs and his wife Pat Stubbs; Her kids, Michele Meyer and her husband Tom Meyer, Tim Miller and his wife Nicole Miller, James Miller and his partner Kelly Dougherty, and Emily Miller and her fiancé Renzo Silva; Her grandchildren, Kelsey, Cody, Dylan, Danica, Kendall, Austin, Cameron, Madison, and Gabriella. As well as her great grandchildren, Shaddai and Emery. She is predeceseased by her parents Robert and Nancy Stubbs.

There will be a celebration of life in the basement of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Newington on February 1st from 2-5pm if you would like to pay your respects. In lieu of flowers, please do something kind for someone, like Becky would have.
