Donna Lynn Sandstrom OBITUARY

Donna Lynn (Webber) Sandstrom, 77, of Burlington, beloved wife of John A. Sandstrom, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 10, 2025 at UConn/John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington. She was born on July 8, 1947 in Bar Harbor, ME, she was the daughter of the late Edmund Hollis Webber, II and Ester (Elder) Webber.

In addition to her loving husband of 51 years, she is survived by her sister Susan M. Westfort, her brother Barry L. Webber, his wife Nancy Webber along with her son Richard J. Janulawicz Jr., her daughters, Tracy Jane Wieland and her husband Kelly Ray Waldrop, Lisa Lyn Frank and her husband Brian J. Frank, Jamie M. Reece and her husband Charles L. Reece, Melissa Edri and her husband Yosef Edri as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Donna had lived in Bristol prior to moving to Burlington over 40 years ago. She was a member of Bethel New England Church in Bristol. Donna enjoyed playing cards with friends and family, adored shopping and having great family gatherings, as well as doing arts and crafts. Most of all she was a devoted and thoughtful Mother and Grandmother. She also enjoyed her time while working as a waitress at Howard Johnsons in West Hartford, and also working at a bakery and learning being a master cake maker and decorator.

A celebration of her life will be held at Bethel New England Church, 750 Stevens Street in Bristol on January 26th, 2025.
